The Visual Communication Design Department held an orientation meeting for first-year students starting the new academic year. The meeting, held in the Kenan Işık Amphitheater, was attended by Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Arğın, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aydın Karabulut, Lecturer Dr. Yasemin Keskin Yılmaz, and Lecturer Dr. Mehmet Ali Gazi.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Arğın, who delivered the opening speech, provided students with important information about the education and training processes, department operations, and administrative matters. Arğın provided information on the academic calendar, document requests, and academic rules to be observed during the student process. He also emphasized the importance of students graduating well-equipped by making the most of the faculty and department facilities.

Visual Communication Society Introduced

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Yasemin Keskin Yılmaz, academic advisor to the Visual Communication Society, provided information about the society's goals, functions, and contributions to students. Yılmaz encouraged students to actively participate in society activities, highlighting the importance of a productive student community. Club President Musab Yitiz then took the floor and informed his fellow students about the club's planned activities. He shared information about workshops, events, and design-focused projects to be held throughout the academic year.
